Green Relief Inc. First of Its Kind in Canada to Receive Medical Marijuana Sales License
HAMILTON, ON, April 20, 2017 /CNW/ - Green Relief Inc., with production facilities in Flamborough, Ontario, becomes the 31st licensed producer in Canada to receive its license from Health Canada to sell medical marijuana, initiating an unprecedented era in the industry.

With aquaponics, plants, fish, and microbes develop into a natural ecosystem for growing cannabis that uses 90 percent less water than conventional agriculture with no discharge of damaging wastewater or soil into the environment.
"Harmful chemicals and pesticides cannot be used in an aquaponics system as they would harm the fish," says Bravo. "This gives our patients the confidence and peace of mind that they are consuming a clean, naturally-grown product."
"Our unique system also empowers our patients by helping feed people in need. Each month, our market-sized tilapia are donated to local homeless shelters in the Toronto area," adds Bravo. "We have donated eight tonnes of healthy fish, resulting in more than 20,000 meals served to date. Being able to make this kind of contribution to our community has been a privilege."
Green Relief operates out of a state-of-the-art facility in Flamborough, Ontario. Designed by co-owners Warren Bravo and Steve LeBlanc, there's no other facility like it in North America. Its green initiatives include earth sheltering for complete climate control over the growing environment and 100 percent LED lighting.
With being granted their sales license, Green Relief can now sell their medical cannabis to registered patients across the country. Order fulfillment will begin Monday, May 1, 2017.
